Loch Ness Lifeboat

The Loch Ness RNLI rescue boat is run by a small team of volunteers who live in and around Drumnadrochit. The station operates an Atlantic 75 lifeboat ‘Thelma Glossop’ which is provided and maintained by the RNLI. We have 14 volunteer crew members who both operate as crew and helms on the lifeboat together with other roles essential for the running of the station.

The crew meet on a Thursday night for training throughout the year and can often be seen on Loch Ness during the weekends training and showing their support for some of the many events taking place on the Loch throughout the year.
